History:
This monumental American Cocktail was created in 1860 approximately by famous bartender Jerry Thomas from San Francisco,for a single person who went to town Martinez.
Therefore, at the beginning of this cocktail called the "Martinez", and gradually it was renamed "Martini",
and then, due to the the appearance of its different variations, he became a "Dry Martini Short Drink".

Method:
In mixing glass filled on one-third with ice, pour gin and dry vermouth, then mix.
Filter into a cocktail glass.
Decorate with olives and squeeze the lemon peel into a glass.

Variations:
This cocktail is prepared in a cocktail shaker, will be called the Bradford.
Adding a bit of vermouth with spray, you will receive Vermouth Spray.
