Wash the rice in water, twice. Soak the rice in water for about 10-15 minutes. Chop the vegetables, or if you are using canned vegetables (they are usually cut) keep them ready on a plate with the spices (cloves, cardamom, etc). Add them to the rice. Then add two cups of water to the rice. Keep it in a microwave for abou 12-15 minutes. Keep it for 12 minutes and check if it is cooked. If it isn\'t, then keep it for few more minutes. You need to check if all the water is drained out. Some people like to eat it soft, so you should stop cooking after 12 minutes. Then keep it inside the microwave for about 10 minutes and the Vegetable Pulao is ready to serve. Tastes best with Raita or Lijjat Papad.
